Google Earth: Hold the world in the palm of your hand. With Google Earth for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, you can fly to far corners of the planet with just the swipe of a finger. iCell: iCell gives students, teachers, and anyone interested in biology a 3D view inside a cell. Included are examples of three types of cells: animal, plant, and bacteria. MapQuest: MapQuest provides voice-guided, turn-by-turn, GPS navigation for iPhone. Much like those expensive GPS units, this free app speaks to you, telling you when and where to make a turn. Easily search for restaurants & other popular places with a single tap. Stay on schedule by checking live traffic en route. And, If you take a wrong turn, MapQuest re-routes you automatically.
Molecules: Molecules is an application for viewing three-dimensional renderings of molecules and manipulating them using your fingers. You can rotate the molecules by moving your finger across the display, zoom in or out by using two-finger pinch gestures, or pan the molecule by moving two fingers across the screen at once.
NASA App: The NASA App collects, customizes and delivers an extensive selection of dynamically updated information, images and videos from various online NASA sources in a convenient mobile package.

PLoS Reader: With the free PLoS Reader for iPad you have access to the Public Library of Science most recent journal articles about biology, medicine, genetics, pathogens, and more. The app provides little beyond reading. You can't annotate the files to include your own notes or highlights and you can't even copy and paste. However, for a free app you can receive a wealth of knowledge and access to the latest in scientific research.
Prezi Viewer: View and present your prezis anywhere with simple, intuitive multitouch gestures. Drag to pan and pinch to zoom in or out of topics, just like you do in any map apps. Revise and retouch your prezis, correct typos and adjust your presentation on-the-fly. Prezi Viewer is the perfect companion to your Prezi experience.

Geology WY ($6.99): Geology WY is the edition of the popular GIS (geographic information system) covering the state of Wyoming. This allows you to eliminate the cluttering of bookmarks and inboxes with links that are merely of a one-time interest. It's like a staging area for bookmarks.
