Consultations, Mentoring and Judging|Science Posse Science Fair

Boost your students science fair projects to the next level!

The Science Posse can help your entire class understand the elements of a good science fair project, the role of student, teacher and parent, and the importance of the required paperwork, in person or through the Virtual Science Posse.

Fellows can consult with students in small groups or one-on-one to help them choose a good question, and develop a testable hypothesis, in person or through the Virtual Science Posse.

Fellows can also mentor individual students across the state throughout their entire science fair project through the Virtual Science Posse.

The Science Posse will also return to judge the final results.

Comments on a Virtual Science Fair visit to Big Piney High School by Alicia and Anne Bergman, Wyoming State Science Fair Director:
  • Teacher Justi Crofutt: "The students got to ask questions that I couldn't necessarily answer
It was extremely helpful to myself as a first time science fair teacher and to my students who are just joining the senior division. Thank you, Alicia and Annie!"
  • Students: "I now have a more concise idea as to what I wish to do with my project. They helped me a lot with just narrowing down my ideas. It also helped my friends figure out how they are going to do their projects too. They gave us good advice for senior level Awesome way of explaining things!
