Science Fair Cyber Mentoring Review!

"THANK YOU for this!! Amy and Alicia were tremendous and helped me and my students SOOO MUCH! I would be so grateful for future help - though I TOO will be so much better at this in years ahead. I learned and received great direction and materials to help my teaching too - which I think is also a great objective of the Science Posse!"

How can I make my science fair project the best it can be?

There are several ways we can connect with your students to help with science fair projects

  • The Science Posse can help your entire class understand the elements of a good science fair project, the role of student, teacher and parent, and the importance of the required paperwork, in person or through the Virtual Science Posse.

  • Fellows can consult with students in small groups or one-on-one to help them choose a good question, and develop a testable hypothesis, in person or through the Virtual Science Posse.

  • Fellows can also mentor individual students across the state throughout their entire science fair project through the Virtual Science Posse.

  • After they have worked with your students, Fellows will also return to critique/judge the final products.

Virtual Science Fair Visits and Consultations were very effective in 2012-2013!

Amy DiRienzo and Alicia Martin visited Goins Elementary in Cheyenne, used Blackboard Collaborate/Elluminate to mentor all 48 fifth graders through their science fair projects, and then returned for their final celebration.
