When should my camper arrive at the Kelly Campus of the Teton Science Schools?

Campers should plan to arrive at the Kelly Campus of the Teton Science School around 4:00 pm on Sunday June 9, 2013.

When can I pick my camper up?

Campers can be picked up between 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm on Friday, June 14, 2013.

What activities are planned during the camp?

This camp is a collaboration between the Teton Science Schools and the Science Posse. During the time structured by TSS, the students will engage in outdoor, place-based learning activities such as hiking, animal watching, bird banding, etc.

Students will investigate different scientific phenomena under the guidance of our graduate fellows, who are PhD candidates in ecology, engineering, and mathematics.  We are still developing our lessons, but the theme revolves around species adaptation and survival. . .the original Hunger Games.

What supervision is provided during the camp?

Safety of students and staff is the first priority of the Teton Science Schools. Students are never without adult supervision during their stay.
