Cath Harris, Executive Business Manager
Cath Harris is responsible for developing, preparing and maintaining all comprehensive financial reports and procedures for SER. Cath prepares budget analyses, budget projections and assists Director Mark Northam in preparing SER's biennial budget. She oversees and authorizes expenditures for the EIC, research centers and special projects and develops reporting methods for expenditures with regular status reports among other duties. Before joining SER, Cath held the positions of Assistant to the Vice President (VP) of Administration at UW from 2005-2008 and Staff Assistant to the VP of Research at UW from 1995-2005. Cath holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Wyoming.
Cath is an active 4-H riding instructor, horse judging coach and 4-H club leader. She is also active with the Laramie Lady Lynx Lacrosse team. Harris was born in Laramie and raised in an Air Force family stationed in several locations including Texas, Alabama, Virginia and the Philippines. Cath and her husband have two daughters, McKensie and Joanna, ages 19 and 17.
