Center for Biogenic Natural Gas Research

Commercializing technologies that enhance the production of renewable, clean-burning biogenic natural gas is the primary focus of the Center for Biogenic Natural Gas Research. The Center is currently developing several new and innovative technologies designed to bring economically depleted energy reserves back into production and extend their productive life indefinitely. This research is central to UW's goal of achieving a more sustainable energy future.
