Dr. Felipe Pereira is an SER Professor of Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics. He received his Ph.D. from SUNY-Stony Brook University. His expertise includes application of mathematics to enhanced oil recovery, multiphase flow in multi-scale heterogeneous petroleum reservoirs, and development of models and numerical simulations for flow in mult-scale heterogeneous petroleum reservoirs using both high-resolution numerical simulations and mathematical analysis.
