Summer Awards

Availability of financial aid for summer is limited.  Summer students must enroll for at least half-time status to receive assistance, defined as 6 UNDERGRADUATE CREDIT HOURS for undergraduate students and 4.5 GRADUATE CREDIT HOURS for graduate students.

All summer applicants seeking federal financial aid are asked to submit a 2011-2012 FAFSA and the Summer Financial Aid Application.

To fill out the Summer Financial Aid Application:

  1. Log onto WyoWeb
  2. Click on Student Resources
  3. Click on Add or Drop Classes
  4. Select the Summer Term
  5. Must be registered for at least 1 course
  6. Click on the link "Fill out the Summer Financial Aid Application"
  7. Fill in all information and submit
  8. Complete the 2011-2012 FAFSA

 

The application only needs to be filled out 1 time per summer term.

Summer awarding may take about a week once the 2011-2012 FAFSA and Summer Financial Aid Application are completed. The awards will then be available to view/accept in WyoWeb, under the Student Financials Tab, Financial Aid Awards, Award Year 2011-2012.
