Students will perform service learning at social service agencies in the city, and take educational tours related to social and economic justice. We will also explore ancient Zapotec ruins and the culinary and artisan markets Oaxaca is famous for! Enrollment in the course is on a space available basis only, with 8 slots available. Students must have a current passport and up to date immunizations. Total estimated program cost (including all transportation, insurance, lodging, meals, and tour costs) is approximately $2000.00, plus UW tuition; scholarships are available.
