In my role as teacher, I focus on the quality of connection between students, and between them and me, striving to create a classroom community that fosters mutual respect, openness, and support as well as knowledge and skill attainment. My aim is to offer students opportunities for learning about themselves and the world toward the goal of developing a professional self, on who is prepared to enter the field as an ethical social worker.
