Kimberly moved to Wyoming with her family in the summer of 2010. She received her B.A. in Sociology from California State University in 1993, her MSW from East Carolina University in North Carolina in 1995, and her Ph.D. from Regent University in 2009. Her focus has been on clinical social work with rural populations, trauma recovery, adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse, group work, family therapy and spiritual integration of clinical practice. As an instructor, she most enjoys assisting students in their clinical and professional development. She has a 7 year-old son and a 4 year-old daughter who continually bring her both joy and humility. She loves living in Wyoming and being able to hike and ski--both cross-country and downhill. Spending time laughing and sharing a good meal with friends brings her solace. She is a self-proclaimed book addict ...with no plans on recovery.
