Legacy of Service to Division of Social Work

"Jim was a classically trained scholar and attended seminary in Rome, Italy where he studied to become a priest. After a time spent working in Vatican City, he decided to pursue secular work in a helping profession and chose social work as his career path. Jim was a great guy, always jovial and full of life. He was a terrific teacher and a good friend to all students. He left a last legacy of compassion for his fellow human beings that is passed down to each generation of students in the Division of Social Work." Dr. Keith Miller, Emeritus Professor

Thank you!

"I would like to say "thank you' to the James Wiebler Memorial Scholarship. Being a non-traditional student and single mother, I appreciate the opportunity to receive this award. This scholarship has been god-sent. I have been able to continue to focus on my studies and be a role model to my eight-year-old daughter, and not stress about my finances." Marci Conley
