The World is Their Classroom

Students today live in a world that is truly global in nature. The advent of technology such as satellite communication, jet travel, and the Internet have made the world much smaller. As such, what happens in one part of the world can have a great impact on other parts of the world as well. Study Abroad opportunities have become an increasingly popular way to help students learn more about the world they live in, yet many students cannot take advantage of these life-changing opportunities due to financial constraints.

The World is Their Classroom is a special initiative offered by the University of Wyoming Division of Social Work to allow our friends and supporters to help make a difference in the lives of our students by funding travel scholarships so more of our students can take advantage of the many study abroad opportunities that are available.

You can help social work students Make the World Their Classroom by funding either a full scholarship for $500 or a half scholarship for $250.
