UW Trustees Approve Personnel Items

May 22, 2004 -- University of Wyoming trustees approved the following personnel items during their business meeting Saturday, May 22:

Administrative appointments:

Brent A. Hathaway as dean of the College of Business, for a five-year period; James R. Steidtmann, as director of the Institute for Energy Research, for a one-year period.

Faculty appointments: College of Health Sciences -- Ronald F. Baldwin as clinical assistant professor in the Casper Family Practice Residency Program. He received a B.S. (1988) degree in chemistry from Indiana University and an M.D. (1994) from Indiana University School of Medicine.

University Libraries -- Mark A. Jacobs as assistant librarian for collection development. He received a B.A. degree (1994) in history from Wichita State University and an M.S. (1996) in library and information science from the University of Illinois.
