This option is designed to prepare students for careers in various criminal justice agencies, as well as for entry into a doctoral program in the field of criminology/criminal justice. 

The track requires completion of SOC 5440 (Deviance and Social Control) and SOC 4250 (Sociology of Law), as well as two 4000-level courses in Sociology and/or Criminal Justice to be chosen in consultation with the graduate advisor.
