Dr. Malcolm Holmes

Introduction:

Malcolm Holmes received the Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1982. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Wyoming in 1991, he taught at the University of Texas at El Paso (1986-1991) and New Mexico State University (1981-1986). He served as the director of the University of Wyoming's Administration of Justice Program from 1991-1995. His primary research interests involve the relationships of race and ethnicity to criminal justice decision making. Recently his research has focused on police brutality in minority communities.
