EDUCATION DOCTORAL DEGREES CURRICULUM REQUIREMENTS

DOCTOR OF EDUCATION

The Doctor of Education in Education requires students to successfully complete 80 credit hours. Applicants must already have a master's degree and three years of teaching experience in addition to completing EDRE 5530 - Introduction to Research or an equivalent course prior to entering the program. DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY

The Doctor of Philosophy in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Literacy Education program is 79 credit hours. You must have three years of classroom teaching experience and a master's degree to apply to the program. All courses are delivered entirely online with a required one semester on-campus residency.
