School of Teacher Education

It is a challenging yet exciting time for educators at all levels. The need for highly qualified teachers in elementary classrooms is tremendous. The Elementary Education program provides high quality, NCATE accredited programs for students leading to K-6 teaching certification, graduate certificates, and graduate degrees in Curriculum and Instruction.

We also offer a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education that rovides you with the eligibility to become a licensed elementary teacher (K-6) as well as gaining an additional endorsement to teach special education from kindergarten through high school.
