Prior to going into education, Rochelle served in the United States Air Force for almost nine years. Getting to travel all over the world, gave her a very strong cultural appreciation. In 2012, she received her masters degree in special education and became a behavior and social skill teacher. In total, Rochelle has taught for 10 years in the classroom and loved every minute of it! Her goal in higher education, is to share her passion for teaching children with future educators. In the future, she hopes to publish research on the field of education.

Research Interests

Elementary Education, Science Achievement K-8, Art Integration, Student Sensory Needs, Flexible Instruction and Seating, Behavioral Studies.
