Looking to pursue a major that prepares you for violence prevention and response work? While anyone can work to end violence, some UW majors that specifically consider gender-based violence in their program of study include:

Anyone who is interested in pursuing a career that addresses gender-based violence should strongly consider getting involved in related volunteer opportunties on or off campus. The Stop Violence Program does not currently have a volunteer program, but we work closely with the Wellness Ambassadors and the Albany County SAFE Project to support their involvement and volunteer activities.
