The Division of Student Affairs is pleased to continue supporting the Center for Service, Leadership, and Community Engagement (SLCE). Born of a unique collaboration between the Dean of Students Office and the Wyoming Union, SLCE is predicated on the notion that universities have a responsibility to prepare all students for active citizenship. SLCE seeks to cultivate engaged leadership, which a healthy American democracy demands.

One of the programs hosted by SLCE is the First Year Institute (FYI!), a leadership development retreat for incoming freshman and transfer students.
