This student survey calendar and related materials are designed to help survey administrators prepare and schedule their survey administrations so as not to overload students with survey requests and to potentially optimize survey results. Only surveys requesting responses from 250 or more individuals in a broad-based sample or population should be scheduled.

The calendar can be accessed by clicking on the “Survey Calendar” link in the left column. To add your survey to the calendar, please use the link labeled “Submit a Survey” to add your survey to this calendar.

Specific blackout dates have been designated to allow only instructor/course evaluations to be administered toward the end of each academic term. Click on the “Blackout Dates” link for current details.

Information on survey principles, best practices, Institutional Review Board (IRB) permission to survey human subjects, and related topics can be found under Resources. Please peruse these for additional suggestions and guidance.
