At the University of Wyoming, we understand the special role that parents play as their student transitions to his or her new role as a university student. During Freshman Move-in Day, August 20, we have several events planned for you.

First, join Cowboy Parents for a drop-in reception in the Fireplace Lounge in the Washakie Center. Here you will meet other parents as well as pick up some tips to help during this new phase in life.

Next, join your student for the Washakie Center's Welcome to Wyoming Dinner. Feast on some of our region's delicacies while learning about the many food options available on campus.

Finally, University of Wyoming President Tom Buchanan invites you to join our campus as we welcome our new freshman class that evening. More details will follow, but please plan on joining us for Freshman Move-In Day festivities.
