Cowboy Parents Reception
Join Cowboy Parents for a drop-in reception in the Fireplace Lounge in the Washakie Center. Here you will meet other parents as well as pick up some tips to help during this new phase in your life.

3:00pm-6:30pm

Welcome to Wyoming Dinner
Parents of freshmen or students living in the residence halls are invited to join your student for the Washakie Center's Welcome to Wyoming Dinner. Feast on some of our region's delicacies while learning about the many food options available on campus.

President's Welcome Address and Reception
University of Wyoming President Tom Buchanan invites you to join our campus as we welcome our new freshman class that evening. A welcome reception will follow the President’s remarks.

For those parents still in town Friday afternoon, please join Dave Cozzens, Dean of Students, for an after-lunch session that focuses on for an after-lunch session that focuses on continuing to adjust your parenting relationship with your college student to one with an 'emerging adult' including  trust, compromise, and flexibility.
