Mark Sunderman has been teaching in higher education for over 20 years. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. His degrees are in Finance and his specialty is Real Estate. Mark has been on the faculty of the University of Wyoming since 1986. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, he has excelled in academic research and consulting.

Professor Sunderman was one of the first instructors at the University of Wyoming to teach online. He taught his first online class in spring 1999. He has since developed 5 online classes and over the last two and a half years has taught over 500 students online. In 2002 Mark was awarded the eOT Award for Excellence in Online Teaching.
