Extending a tradition of collaboration between the Rocky Mountain Front-Range universities (University of Wyoming, University of Colorado- Boulder, University of Denver, Colorado State University, and the University of Northern Colorado), the first annual Sustainability, Ethics, and Entrepreneurship (SEE) Conference was held from April 12-13 in Denver, Colorado. As an outgrowth of the biannual Front Range Management Research Seminars started in 2008, the conference offered the opportunity for leading scholars from regional, national, and global communities to discuss how the core building blocks of sustainability, ethics, and entrepreneurship can be harnessed to create a new generation of businesses that renew and strengthen rather than deplete or weaken the environmental, social, and economic resources of the planet. A strong contingent of University of Wyoming Marketing and Management faculty and doctoral students led by faculty member and conference co-organizer Roland Kidwell attended the conference which featured remarks by Dean Brent Hathaway and presentations by faculty members John Mittelstaedt, Mark Peterson, and doctoral student Bret Leary.
