Next Steps

Once you have been admitted, the University of Wyoming will begin sending important mailings designed to keep you moving through the process. Don't miss important deadlines and opportunities by not opening your mail or e-mail! The Admissions office provides a very useful checklist of tasks here.

Orientation

It is absolutely necessary for students participating in Synergy to attend new student Orientation or notify Admissions of their absence.  If you have not signed up for an orientation as of yet, please go to their website. 

Summit Program

On August 23-25, 2012, incoming UW students will have the opportunity to integrate with the UW campus, gain important knowledge about their transition to college, and have fun while interacting with their peers during Summit.

All freshmen, including those living off campus, are expected to participate in Summit.  More information on summit, including schedule and parent & student information is available here.

Synergy Seminar 

Students participate in an afternoon seminar just prior to the beginning of their first semester of classes. This seminar promotes community building and shared understanding of the expectations of Synergy courses. During this seminar, students also begin their work in the UWYO 1450 course.
