Microbial community analysis with phospholipids fatty acid analysis, analysis by gas chromatography, soil microbial respiration and biomass estimations, soil fauna (microarthropods, nematodes) sampling and identification, soil protozoa culture and abundance estimation, diverse techniques for soil chemical and physical properties, litter decomposition and nutrient mineralization measurements, stable isotopes in plant-soil system, general limnological techniques.
