Shaun Sorensen

Originally from Pomona, California, Shaun holds a BS in directing and design from Eastern Oregon University and an MFA in Design Technology from the University of Idaho.
He has received numerous awards in both directing and lighting design, including an award for his lighting of Boy Gets Girl, which was performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. He was also a five-time recipient of the KCACTF award in lighting design, and a two-time recipient of the KCACTF award in directing. Favorite projects include Sabato, which he directed at the KCACTF Region VII festival, as well as a white-light design for Death of a Salesman.
