JOB PURPOSE:
Enforce the University of Wyoming parking regulations on campus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The main responsibility of this position is to enforce the University of Wyoming parking regulations on campus. It may also involve revenue collection, data entry, and other duties as assigned. Applicants must be able to provide quality customer service at all times and remain calm in stressful and sometimes difficult situations.
Transportation Services is very flexible working with student schedules. Weekly hours can range anywhere from 10 - 28 hours. The normal hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Please note that this position requires occasional weekend, night, and early morning work. Position includes frequent pay scale reviews.

JOB PURPOSE:
Provide ADA transportation to the UW and Laramie community. This service is a branch of the Demand Response transit services and operates on an "on-call" basis. Applicants will be trained to drive and dispatch for the Paratransit service. Paratransit is a complementary ADA service for those with disabilities. A CDL is NOT required for this position.
Hours of operation: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 7:30pm. Shifts are based on availability.

JOB PURPOSE:
Provide supplemental dispatch support for Transit Operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule rides for passengers and dispatch drivers to those calls for service.
Relay information to drivers by means of mobile radio communication. Document information received from riders, drivers, and supervisors.
Preparing daily work assignments for fixed route drivers.
Available hours range from 5:00am - 7:00pm with flexibility in scheduling available.

Job Purpose:

JOB PURPOSE:
Manage and oversee all operations of the Transit Shop including repairs, preventive maintenance, inventory, safety inspections and personnel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the daily operational functions of the Transit Shop.
Supervise, repair, and preventive maintenance for UW Transit and Parking Services. Provide technical instruction, evaluate and coach employees as required, participate in the disciplinary process.
Formulate policies and make recommendations for implementation.
Ensure that preventive maintenance program meets all standards set by DOT and FTA and other policies as required. Identify the need for and implement employee trainings, shop safety standards, tool inventory and accountability procedures.
Inspect, test, diagnose, and repair diesel and/or gas vehicles and equipment. Inspect vehicle components, parts, and accessories to ensure safe operation that is compliant with all DOT, FT, and ADA regulations. Adhere to safety and preventative maintenance standards and procedures.
Administer and enforce university, city, county, state, and federal regulations and policies directly related to the Transit Services’ functions.
Provide liaison representation and initiate problem resolutions between city, county, state, and federal officials, vehicular vendors, and university customers.
Supervise staff, make hiring recommendations, train, evaluate, advise, and assist appointing authority with discipline process.
Prepare and maintain all work orders, defect reports, and warranty claims. Provide regular reports to management on repair and maintenance costs, miles, hours, etc. Perform associated accounting duties as required.
Coordinate repairs, manage inventory, diagnose and repair diesel/gasoline powered buses.

Travel occasionally as related to vehicle breakdowns, investigation of traffic accidents, conferences, or meetings.

JOB PURPOSE:
Perform minor mechanical repairs, overhaul and maintain fleet vehicles and equipment. Ensure proper performance and safety of the University of Wyoming fleet. Assist in all other repairs and preventative maintenance as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnose, test, and repair malfunctioning equipment, with the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
Perform skilled repair and maintenance on a variety of gasoline and diesel-powered equipment and vehicles such as replacing bearings, axle seals, brake master cylinders, etc.
Perform welding/cutting operations and minor body repairs.
Maintain accurate, updated records of preventive maintenance and repair work.
Perform routine vehicle and equipment preventive maintenance inspections, check and replace fluids, check lights and other electrical system components, etc. Replace exhaust system components.
Disassemble components, inspect parts for wear. Repair, overhaul, replace and rebuild water and fuel pumps, air conditioning components, compressors, radiators, etc. Rewires electrical systems. Replace, realign and adjust brakes and suspension components.
