JOB PURPOSE:
To fuel, stage and park rental vehicles. Provide courtesy rides to customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Fuel rental vehicles upon return.
Staging vehicles for outgoing rentals.
Transporting vehicles as needed.
Prep and staging vehicles for outgoing rentals.
Provide courtesy rides for customers as needed.
Complete all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.
The ability to drive different types of vehicles in all types of weather.

JOB PURPOSE:
The Transportation Cleaning Attendant's purpose is to maintain a presentable and sanitary environment for our patrons and passengers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Transportation Cleaning Attendant will be responsible for a thorough inspection, sanitation, and general cleaning of our Fleet and Transit vehicles daily. Job duties will include, washing and sanitizing interior windows, seats, dashboards, walls, ceilings, floors, and other high touch areas as well as the exterior of vehicles.

JOB TITLE:
SafeRide Driver/Dispatcher
JOB PURPOSE:
Provide late-night alternate (SafeRide) transportation to the UW and Laramie community. This service operates on an "on-call" basis. Applicants will primarily be driving for this service and will be trained to dispatch as needed.
Pay: $15.10/hr. with a competitive compensation plan after completion of probation period, typically 4 months.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely operate UW transit vehicles which includes the transportation of passengers
Perform safety inspections of vehicles to ensure equipment is operating within safe parameters. Maintain inventory of equipment.
Dispatch and schedule rides.
Assist with shop and vehicle cleaning.
Orient and train new employees as required.
Provide excellent customer service, offer assistance, and answer questions from passengers as required.
All other duties as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL FUNCTIONS:
This position does have the opportunity to operate other services of Demand Response, if desired. Those other services include: Laramie Link Dial-A-Ride and Paratransit.

JOB TITLE:
Mechanic - Transportation Services
JOB PURPOSE:
Assemble, maintain, repair, adjust and modify equipment, transit vehicles and/or facilities and machinery; operate vehicles, equipment and/or machinery as required.
This position has been deemed essential as addressed in the University of Wyoming’s Employee Handbook. Employees in essential positions may be required to work during emergency closures and winter closure based on the nature of their job duties and the reasons for the closure.
This position is grant funded and considered at-will employment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform basic to intermediate vehicle/equipment maintenance and repairs to Transportation Services transit fleet. Diagnose, maintain, repair, and adjust buses as necessary to keep fleet in optimum and safe condition.
Perform and complete annual vehicle inspections, to also include all occupant safety and emergency systems. Make adjustments as needed.
Perform timely routine vehicle preventive maintenance program in accordance with DOT and FTA regulations to ensure safe operating condition of entire fleet.
Inspect vehicle components, parts, and accessories on Transportation Services fleet to ensure safe operation that is compliant with all DOT, FTA, and ADA regulations. General shop cleaning and organizational duties, keeping fluid cabinets stocked and organized. Disposing of used fluids properly and as necessary.
Operate/Maintain tools, equipment, and shop area for the purpose of ensuring availability and safety.
Prepares written materials (repair and maintenance logs, parts lists) for supervisor to ensure all data is entered into work management system.
Responds to road calls as necessary. Arrange for towing, bus replacement, or field repairs if necessary.
Perform other task as assigned by the Lead Diesel Technician or Shop Manager.
