The success of the University of Wyoming Trustees Education Initiative will be supported by the knowledge, expertise, advice, and counsel of a panel of national experts and innovators in: educator preparation; P-12 education; state, federal, and local education policy; rural education; indigenous populations; the science of learning; literacy; science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education; and socioeconomic effects on student success.
Reviewers with expertise in the specific content areas of each proposal emerging from the Trustees Education Initiative Research Work Groups will evaluate the proposal on:
Alignment to key performance indicators;
Documentation of demonstrated need;
Evidence supporting the proposal in the current body of literature;
Evidence supporting the proposal in the evaluation of leading programs across the country;
Analysis of contextual constraints that may affect implementation of the proposal;
Assessment of risks to the success of the proposal's implementation; and
Sufficiency of the funding request to support the proposal.
The invitation process for national experts has begun. To date, the following experts have agreed to serve on the Trustees Education Initiative National Review Panel:
