Make an Appointment

How do I get started?

Come to 341 Knight Hall during our business hours to fill out new client paperwork and to be scheduled for the next available appointment with a counselor. Please allow 20-30 minutes to complete our new client paperwork.

New Client Processing Hours

Fall and Spring Hours:

Monday -  Friday 8:00am - 4:30 pm

Summer Hours:

Monday -  Friday- 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

What happens when I first arrive?

You will be greeted by our front office staff and asked to fill out new client forms (20-30 minutes). You will then have the opportunity to schedule a next available appointment with a counselor to discuss your situation.

This initial appointment (20-30 minutes) is not a counseling appointment. It is an opportunity for the counselor to assess and discuss your needs. The counselor will then assign you to one of the UCC groups or to an individual counselor, or he or she may refer you to an outside resource that may more closely fit your needs.

What if I have a crisis?

Crisis intervention services are offered during regular clinic hours (8:00am - 5:00pm) for students with urgent mental health crisis. Please call or walk in and inform our receptionist you have an urgent crisis.

For after-hours crises, call 766-8989 and ask for the on-call counselor.

If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911.
