Priority Registration

Priority registration is available to students who:

  • Need to plan classroom locations around physical needs (e.g. accessibility of the location).

  • Students who are eligible for alternative format.

  • Students who will utilize interpreter or transcriber services.

Students who are eligible for Priority Registration will receive an email from DSS prior to the opening of the registration period.

To take advantage of this early registration opportunity, it is important to schedule an appointment with your academic advisor early during the advising period to review your course selections and obtain your PERC number. Obtaining your PERC number must be done before you can use WyoWeb to register.

Students who are concerned with classroom accessibility should review their schedule right after registration to ensure that classrooms are accessible.  If a room is not accessible, or if you are unsure, please make an appointment as soon as possible to meet with your DSS coordinator to explore the location's accessibility features and to arrange for relocation of classrooms, if necessary.

Students who need books in alternative format, sign language interpreting or transcribing services should share a copy of their schedule with their DSS coordinator as soon as possible after registering to allow for advanced planning and minimize the delay in services for the start of each semester.

To determine if you qualify for this accommodation, contact your DSS coordinator.
