Course Review Process
The University Studies Committee prefers to receive proposals in an electronic format. Materials should be sent to Aneesa McDonald. A hard copy of the appropriate form, with appropriate signatures, must be received before the proposal can be given final approval.
All course proposals submitted to the University Studies Program for inclusion in the program must include the following items.
- Course proposal/action request form:
- Existing courses: University Studies Course Proposal Form, approved by the department and college.
- New or requires action by the University Course Review Committee: Course Action Request form, approved by department and college.
- Detailed course syllabus, must contain a statement of the USP objectives, specific to the course.
- USP criteria review sheets for each category requested, no more than two categories for a single course.
Please consider how each course submitted for University Studies review will affect or be affected by the major and minor requirements, college requirements, and other University Studies courses. Please also consider the articulation agreement with Wyoming community colleges and how your requirements will affect these and other transfer students.
If you have questions regarding your submission, please contact Aneesa McDonald at 766-4287.
