WyoCal - UW's Calendar

WyoCal is the University of Wyoming’s destination for what’s going on at UW that you shouldn’t miss!

 

Who can submit

Any member of the University of Wyoming community may submit events to the WyoCal calendar. We know you’re a community member because you are using a uwyo.edu e-mail address.  Please submit your calendar item at least one week in advance to give those who would like to attend enough time plan for it.

 

What events can you post?

WyoCal is your destination to find out about all the great things that are happening at UW, particularly those that enhance the educational experience for students at UW. That means any event that’s a lecture or talk sponsored by UW or one of its recognized student organizations, art, sporting or social events may be posted. When you submit your item, please check to ensure your information is correct. If your event is political in nature, please be sure to follow these guidelines, which take priority over all other guidelines.

 

What can’t be posted?

Events that are intended for small groups only should be posted in a place that’s appropriate for them – on a department or club calendar. UW will not post personal events or solicitations. Events that aren’t sponsored by the UW community won’t be posted here. And if your event isn’t intended for the campus community or general public to attend please consider a more appropriate outlet.

Reminders and other follow-up submissions won’t be posted.

 

What information should I include?

Please include the name of the event, the time, date, location and a brief description. If tickets or RSVPs are required, please let people know. Please also include a contact name and contact information. Remember that not all the people who would like to attend your event are familiar with the UW campus, so be specific in describing locations and don’t use abbreviations for building names. UW reserves the right to edit your submission before it’s posted.

 

Why was my request declined?

Your request may have been rejected if it didn’t meet the guidelines outlined above, or the information you provided is not complete.
