UW Centennial Singers to Tour Wyoming, Nebraska
January 2, 2008 — The Centennial Singers, the University of Wyoming's musical ambassadors,
will perform this month in eastern Wyoming and western Nebraska.
Tickets for all performances cost $8 for adults and $5 for students, seniors and children. All performances begin at 7:30 p.m.
The Centennial Singers, directed by Patrick Newell, begin their tour
Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Scottsbluff, Neb., Senior High School. The UW
contingent performs the following day, Thursday, Jan. 10, in the
auditorium at Bayard, Neb., High School.
On Friday, Jan. 11, the Centennial Singers return to Wyoming to perform
at the Eastern Wyoming College Auditorium in Torrington.
The Centennial Singers perform for elementary and secondary students,
the public, UW alumni and university functions, and also hold clinics
for public school music groups.
Members of this year's troupe are Bridger Bailey, J.P. Jaramillo, Anne
Mason and Tiffany Young, all of Laramie; Rebecca Diamond of Winter Park,
Colo.; Kyli Hale of Afton; Erin Hamel of Green River; Christian Munck
and Kayla O'Keefe, both of Helena, Mont.; Veronica Olson of Pittsburgh,
Pa.; Nathan Owen of Cheyenne; Matt Sanderson of Scottsbluff; Zach Taylor
of Aurora, Colo.; Sarah Thomas of Southlake, Texas; Bart Ulbrich of
Bayard; and Nicholas Wineman of Cut Bank, Mont.
