The Wyoming Small Business Development Center (WSBDC) will co-sponsor a seminar Wednesday, Jan. 23, designed to help residents and businesses to better understand their credit score.
The free seminar, titled "So -- How's Your Credit?," will be from 6:30-8
p.m. in the Crawford Room of the Natrona County Public Library, 307 E.
2nd St. in Casper. To register, call (307) 577-READ, ext. 2.
Stacey Tichey of Consumer Credit Counseling Service will provide
valuable information about credit reports and credit scoring, as well as
discuss wise use of credit and how to avoid predatory lending
practices.
The WSBDC is a partnership program funded by the U.S. Small Business
Administration, the Wyoming Business Council and the University of
Wyoming. The Natrona County Public Library and the Casper Area Chamber
of Commerce also sponsor the seminar.
With its main office located on the UW campus, the WSBDC helps to
strengthen Wyoming businesses and create economic growth by providing
management assistance, educational programs and helpful resources for
Wyoming small businesses and entrepreneurs.
The WSBDC also offers low-cost educational forums and one-on-one
counseling at no cost to participating businesses in areas such as
planning, management, marketing, and finance. The WSBDC has regional
offices throughout the state.
