Dale Eisler, the consul general of Canada in Denver, will give a public talk Monday, Feb. 11, at 10 a.m. in the University of Wyoming Union Yellowstone Ballroom.

Eisler's presentation, "The U.S.-Canada Story," will focus on U.S.-Canada relations and Canada's increasing economic prosperity.

After the speech, Eisler's staff and UW's International Programs Office will host a box lunch at noon in the Union Senate Chambers for students and faculty interested in Canadian studies and grants available from the Canadian government. A limited number of box lunches will be provided.

Prior to taking the post of consul general, Eisler spent decades as a prominent journalist in Canada, and served on the Privy Council for the Prime Minister of Canada.
