The University of Wyoming Outdoor Adventure Program (OAP) will host its annual Spring Outdoor Gear Swap Saturday, March 8, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Yellowstone Ballroom.
The gear swap will include skis, snowboards, clothing and other types of outdoor recreational
equipment at discounted prices.
Cash and checks are the only form of accepted payment at the event that is open to
the public.
The swap usually attracts more than 500 shoppers and offers an
opportunity to sell and purchase gear. People wanting to sell items
should drop them off Friday, March 7, between 6-8 p.m. or on Saturday
between 8-10 a.m. The OAP takes a 15 percent commission on all sales,
which benefit the program. There is no penalty for items that don't sell
and unsold items must be picked up by owners between 2-4 p.m.
