A record number of people from across the United States took online non-credit classes in January through the University of Wyoming.
Enrollment totals for January were up nearly 30 percent from a year ago.
Students from Maryland, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C.,
Florida, Colorado, Wyoming and Virginia signed up for online training
and certificate classes the past year, says John Scozzafava, Community
Service Education (CSE) online coordinator.
"We recently had five students from Virginia enroll in a variety of
classes ranging from Microsoft Office training to music appreciation,"
Scozzafava says. "Students really like that they can enroll for these
classes anytime and a new session starts every month."
The next session begins Feb. 20.
This year, CSE offers classes through Trump University, Donald Trump's
business training school. Scozzafava says Trump's classes in business,
real estate and entrepreneurship offer experienced guidance with
flexible delivery.
