Belly Dancing is among the fitness courses offered this fall.

The University of Wyoming Community Enrichment Program will offer many old favorites and several new classes this fall. The catalogs were recently mailed to Laramie residents.

The catalog lists life enrichment, personal development and professional trainings available through the UW Center for Conferences and Continuing Education (CCCE). The fall lineup includes old favorites such as hydrobics, Spanish, yoga, oil painting and martial arts and new offerings such as Russian, Chinese, Brazilian cooking and jewelry making and juggling.

The fall program also features a class on green living in which participants will learn about the potentials of wind energy and a series called "Religion and American Politics" that will address the complexities of separation of church and state

"The new classes being offered for the fall are based on surveys of what our program participants would like to see, and we're excited to be able to offer a mix of old standbys along with new classes," says Heather Landers, program coordinator.
