Enhanced Oil Recovery Commission and Advisory Board to Meet Jan. 15

January 7, 2009 — The University of Wyoming Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute will host a joint meeting of its Technical Advisory Board and EOR Commission on Thursday, Jan. 15, at 8 a.m. at the Embassy Suites, 7001 Yampa Street near the Denver International Airport.

Enhanced Oil Recovery Institute (EORI) team members will update board members on the status of their project work.

Friday, Jan. 16, at 8 a.m., the Enhanced Oil Recovery Commission will hold its third quarterly business meeting at the Embassy Suites. The EOR Commission will discuss its FY10 budget and its 2011-12 biennium budget request based on input gathered from the Technical Advisory Board's comments. The meeting is open to the public. The EOR Commission is funded by the state of Wyoming to support the EORI at UW. In addition to its aggressive research agenda, EORI engages in cooperative and contractual agreements with independent producers, and offers short courses, workshops and technical outreach meetings to assist in the transfer of current EOR technologies to Wyoming producers.
