Friendship -- Students from nearly 80 countries attend the University of Wyoming this year.

Laramie families are invited to participate in the Friendship Families Program (FFP). Now in its 12th year, the program connects international students with local families.

"This is a volunteer non-live-in host family program that matches Laramie families with international students to make friends, learn about other cultures and share time," says Marian Erdelyi, FFP coordinator. "Beginning in January, we will have almost 90 new international students attending the university, and many of them will want to participate in the Friendship Families Program."

Families interested in joining can contact Jill Johnson, UW International Students and Scholars manager, in Room 241 of Knight Hall, phone (307) 766-5193 or e-mail jillj@uwyo.edu.
