University of Wyoming Events for Jan. 12-19

January 12, 2009 — Jan. 12, 2009 -- These are among the public events scheduled at the University of Wyoming Monday, Jan. 12, through Monday, Jan. 19.

Wednesday, Jan. 14, 6 p.m. -- Men's basketball, UW vs. San Diego State, Arena-Auditorium.

Wednesday, Jan. 14, 8 p.m. -- The popular bluegrass band Mountain Standard Time will perform a free concert, Wyoming Union ballroom.

Monday, Jan. 12-Friday, Jan. 30, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday -- Art by state Master Gardener Coordinator Raina Spence's will be on display in the Wyoming Union's ASUW.

Friday, Jan. 16-Saturday, Jan. 17, 7:30 p.m. -- UW Department of Theatre and Dance presents its first "Eminent Artist-in-Residence" one-man show, international mime sensation and Broadway veteran Bill Bowers, "It Goes Without Saying," Fine Arts Center Main Stage. Saturday, Jan. 17, 1:30 p.m. -- Women's basketball, UW vs. UNLV, Arena-Auditorium.

Monday, Jan. 19 -- Most UW business and administrative offices will be closed and classes dismissed for Martin Luther King Jr./Wyoming Equality Day. Normal business hours and class times will resume Tuesday, Jan. 20.

Monday, Jan. 19 -- Martin Luther King Jr. March and Community Supper begins at 4 p.m. at the Albany County Courthouse, followed by the supper in the Wyoming Union Ballroom. Free. For a complete schedule of MLK March and Days of Dialogue events, visit and click "2009 Schedule."
