Cadet Club/Army ROTC Fun Shoot

February 10, 2009 — The University of Wyoming Cadet Club and Army ROTC will sponsor a "Fun Shoot" Tuesday, Feb. 17, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Half Acre rifle range.

"This event will give students an opportunity to use the rifle range as well as take a break from class to shoot a .22 caliber firearm," says Cadet Ben Nemec, ROTC public affairs officer.

The cost will be $2 per attempt, and the highest score of the day will receive a DVD player. Runners-up will receive prizes as well. The entrance to the rifle range is located near the bus stop on the east side of Half Acre. Participants should enter the south-facing door and head downstairs.
