Friday, Feb. 27, 7:30 p.m. -- UW Festival of Strings Concert with pianist Rubia Santos, Fine Arts Center concert hall. Free.
Friday, Feb. 27, 7:30 p.m. -- UW Fine Arts Outreach presents Woven Harmony, College of Education auditorium. Tickets cost $7 for students and senior citizens, and $10 for others.
Saturday, Feb. 28, 5 p.m. -- Lights, Camera, Cure, the UW chapter of Cardinal Key, the junior class honor society, will host its annual banquet and art auction to raise funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International, Wyoming Union Yellowstone Ballroom. Saturday, Feb. 28, 7:30 p.m. -- 48 Hour Dance Relay, selected dancers from the UW Department of Theatre and Dance will create, choreograph, rehearse, and perform an original dance piece all within 48 hours, College of Education auditorium. Tuesday, March 3, 7 p.m. -- UW Potter Law Club's annual Spring Panel Presentation will feature first-hand accounts of a Colorado murder trial gone awry, Classroom Building Room 129.
Wednesday, March 4, 7 p.m. -- The UW MFA Visiting Writers Series will present a reading by acclaimed author James Salter, Second Story Books, 105 Ivinson Street. Salter will sign his books following the reading.
Thursday, March 5, 7:30 p.m. -- UW Symphony Orchestra presents The Dorothy Jacoby Student Soloist Competition, Fine Arts Center concert hall. Tickets cost $6 for students, $7 for senior citizens and $10 for others.
Thursday, March 5-Saturday, March 7, 7:30 p.m. -- UW Department of Theatre and Dance presents Escananba in Da Moonlight, Fine Arts Center Studio Theatre. Tickets cost $6.50 for general admission.
