University of Wyoming Calendar for March 6-12

February 27, 2009 — These are among the public events scheduled at the University of Wyoming Friday, March 6, through Thursday, March 12.

Thursday, March 5-Saturday, March 7, 7:30 p.m. -- UW Department of Theatre and Dance presents "Escananba in Da Moonlight," Fine Arts Center Studio Theatre. Tickets cost $6.50 for general admission.

Saturday, March 7, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. -- UW's semiannual Outdoor Gear Swap, Wyoming Union Yellowstone Ballroom. For more information, e-mail or call (307) 766-2402.

Saturday, March 7, 8 p.m. -- ASUW Concerts and Convocations with Friday Night Fever present "Whose Line Is It, Anyway?" College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. Tickets cost $10 for students and $15 for others.

Saturday, March 7, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. -- Project Diabetes, free health screenings offered to the public by UW pharmacy students. The event will be held in the Family Room on the second floor of the Wyoming Union.

Tuesday, March 10, 8 p.m. -- Jamnesty concert series, Wyoming Union Gardens. Free.

Wednesday, March 11, 7:30 p.m. -- UW Faculty Recital Series presents "Works by Women Composers," Fine Arts Center concert hall. Tickets cost $5 for students and senior citizens, and $7 for others.

Thursday, March 12, 7 p.m. -- "Wild Utah: America's Redrock Wilderness" slideshow presentation, UW Classroom Building Room 222. Free.
