The University of Wyoming Academy of Student Pharmacists, along with students from other campus groups, will offer a diabetic and osteoporosis screening Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. on the second floor of the UW Union.

The free services include blood glucose testing, blood pressure screenings, diabetic foot examinations and osteoporosis screenings. A limited number of hemoglobin A1C and cholestrol/lipid tests will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

All services will be performed by UW pharmacy students with the help and supervision of licensed clinical pharmacists. Results will be immediately available.

For best results, please fast for eight hours prior to screening.

The event is sponsored by the Academy of Student Pharmacists, Rho Chi and Phi Delta Chi.
