Eric Blomfelt, a former risk manager at Denver International Airport, has been hired as manager of Risk Management and Insurance at the University of Wyoming.
Blomfelt, who has more than 14 years of experience in risk management and insurance, is a nationally-recognized expert and instructor in the field of risk management and holds Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) certifications.
Blomfelt received his B.A. degree in journalism and a J.D. in law from UW. He is scheduled to begin work at UW May 4.
