Two new professional development courses from the University of Wyoming's Center for Conferences & Continuing Education (CCCE) are now available online for the next session of online classes beginning April 15. Easy Classroom Podcasting and Event Management and Design are open-enrollment courses available for students, faculty, staff and the public.

Easy Classroom Podcasting, a six-week online course for teachers, will demonstrate techniques for making podcasts. This course qualifies for PTSB (Professional Teaching Standards Board) credits for teachers needing re-certification.

"Podcasting is a great way for teachers to create lessons-to-go for today's busy students," says John Scozzafava, CCCE marketing coordinator. "Students can download lectures and even course videos to their iPods."

CCCE is UW's conference planning headquarters for campus all departments. It will share some of its event planning expertise in the online class Event Management and Design.

"This six-month professional certificate program provides resources for planning exciting and memorable events," says Scozzafava.

More information and online registration for both programs is available at www.ed2go.com/uwyo. Contact Scozzafava at (307) 766-5634 or cse_mkt2@uwyo.edu with questions or for more information.
