Planning Meeting Scheduled for Western States Energy and Environment Symposium

The steering committee members for the Western States Energy and Environment Symposium, pursuant to 2009 House Bill 295, will conduct a planning meeting at noon Wednesday, April 22.

While the meeting will be conducted by conference call, the public is welcome to attend in Room 207 of the University of Wyoming School of Energy Resources, Bureau of Mines Building on the corner of 9th and Lewis streets, in Laramie.

Topics to be discussed, with potential action to be taken, include the symposium's budget, facilitator, and panel and roundtable participants.

Steering committee members are: Wyoming State Sen. John Schiffer; Wyoming State Rep. Tom Lubnau; Michael Peevey, president of the California Public Utilities Commission; Kyle Davis, director of Environmental Policy and Strategy at PacifiCorp; and Bill Schilling, president of the Wyoming Business Alliance/Wyoming Heritage Foundation.
